SEE YOU!

Whether it’s “see you soon”, “see you later” or “I want to see you now”, seeing one another is a vital and non-negotiable part of relationships.

A playful moment of hide-n-seek with a child often includes an “I see you”.  An affirming word of encouragement may include an “it’s good to see you are doing great”. “See you then” is an added confirmation for a time and place set for a future meeting.  And a parting word to a friend can be a simple “see you”.

Sportmoms often say to their athlete, “I want to see you play!”  They are interested in nurturing their child’s body and spirit, ensuring the proper rest, and keeping practice/ game schedules.  In the end, however it is seeing them compete on the fields and courts of their sport that brings satisfaction and delight.

God’s Word is dotted with SEE YOU expressions…

SEE YOU SOON - Jesus’ disciple, John is attributed to writing these words to fellow believers…

I hope to see you soon and talk face to face. 3 John 1:14 NCV

SEE YOU AGAIN - The Apostle Paul expresses over and over again in his letters to the churches how much he wants to see them…

One of the things I always pray for is the opportunity, God willing, to come at last to see you. Romans 1:10 NLT

SEE YOU LATER - Recorded in the Gospel of John are Christ’s promising words for our future meeting…

…I will see you again and you will be happy, and no one will take away your joy. John 16:22

I SEE YOU - The last book of our Holy Bible includes these encouraging and affirming words…

I see what you’ve done, your hard, hard work, your refusal to quit…I know your persistence, your courage … that you never wear out. Revelation 2:2-3 TM

Paul wrote these SEE YOU words to his protégé, Timothy, reminding him to be ever mindful of the teaching he has received …

Cultivate these things. Immerse yourself in them. The people will all see you mature right before their eyes!  1 Timothy 4:15-16 TM

PRAYER:  Lord,  may You be reflected in my eyes so that others may SEE YOU more clearly, love you more dearly and follow you more nearly!

"I see you, I see you! Tralalala lalala la :!
You see me, and I see you
I see you and you see me.
(repeat first line)
A first grade song captivating coordination in beginners.
Thank you for completing the thought line, with the challenge:
"Does the world see Jesus in me?"
