Hi Janet, Thanks for sharing your story on kindness. How often do I miss opportunities to be "Jesus in tennis shoes" because I am not tuned in to the Father first thing each morning. You have encouraged me to "be ready" for whatever God brings my way every day!

Thank you, Linda - loved hearing from you. Looking for kindness opportunities is so much fun! My mom was selling her new poem book at their community center's Christmas Boutique yesterday. I had stopped by to see how things were going and found that she had no fliers to hand out with the book order info on them . . . so another kindness opportunity! It would have been so easy to just leave her with the problem but I put on my kindness hat and offered to prepare 50 for the next day. After scanning, re-formatting the sample poem, entering new text and running it off - 3 hours later I had them back to her for today's event! It was an unexpected "interruption" but instead of doing it because I was asked (which didn't even ocurr to her) - I offered to do it! God's smile seems so much bigger this way! :-)
