Today our year of focus on the word “ADORE” comes to a close. As we enter into the holy days of celebrating our Savior’s birth it is with shouts of Hallelujah that we bow before the manger bed of our Savior, Jesus the Christ.
“Shout Hallelujah…adore him…He has never let you down, never looked the other way…He has been right there, listening.” Psalm 139:13-16 The Message
The stands fill with shouts of adoration when a team makes a play that puts them ahead on the scoreboard. As invigorating and captivating as those moments are, there are also times when things don’t quite work out, a player is late in throwing or receiving a ball, or the game plan just isn’t happening. At this point our response may be a little less than adoring.
Not so in the game plan of life that God has for us There will be times when things don’t go our way, days when things seem a little off and seasons when what we are doing seems hopeless. However in these times we fall to our knees and adore Him all the more for He knows the beginning from the end and He is listening…He is present!
“I will never leave you or forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5b KJV
Is the presence of Christ real in your life? Are you entrusting everything to Him? Do you know He is right there listening to each heart cry and engaged in your life? If so, you can truly shout “Hallelujah”.
SIMPLY ADORE HIS PRESENCE!
