Looking forward is a vital part of coaching, playing and supporting the team as they live out their dreams. Yesterdays hold many fond and amazing memories but it is the hope of tomorrow that brings us into vibrant living…
IT’S A BAD DAY WHEN YOUR MEMORIES OUTWEIGH YOUR DREAMS
God is involved in our dreams. No matter our age or station in life, it is His goal to give us the desires that He has set in our hearts. C.S. Lewis reminded us of this truth when he wrote…
"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."
David, the Psalmist, underlines the process of DREAMCASTING with these words of encouragement and direction…
Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 NIV
Here he calls us to move forward in our DREAMCASTING. We can trust the desires of our hearts if we let nothing come in the way of our hope and trust in the Lord and His sovereign plans for us.
DESIRE WITHOUT HOPE = UNBELIEF IN DISGUISE
And what are God's plans for us? Paul the Apostle gives us this DREAMCASTING answer…
With God's power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine. Ephesians 3:20 NCV
