way or another. We do this every four years which calls for constant change. This process can bring about healthy movement forward for our nation and even for us as individuals. It can also carry with it challenges that seem monumental. Both bring SHIFTING SHADOWS of change.
"...change demands desire and discipline before it becomes delightful. There is always the agony of choice before the promise of change." Larry Lea
Change is also about looking back...taking a glance at the yesterdays and noticing how much we’ve grown since then.
Thankfully, there is an eternal One who never changes. One who showers us not with shifting shadows but with good and perfect gifts.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17 NIV
This day I keep my eyes on not the one who may lead this nation, but on THE ONE who has blessed this nation…whose name is engraved with trust on our coins, faithfully inscribed on our monuments and held as our God in the hearts of our forefathers.
Blessings…as you choose to honor the One whose shadow never shifts.
