To abound in diligence first requires a decision to do something. It is an acquired habit that is developed by purposefully deciding to move ahead despite obstacles.

Once the decision to move forward is made we must stick to it…diligence. In the world of sports as in most any endeavor, there is a learning curve that follows. The practice courts and fields are the arena in which this happens. Learning the plays, developing the moves, building dexterity and becoming familiar with your teammates are all part of the essential practice time in order to ABOUND in DILIGENCE

One of the most telling signs of a true believer is their approach to work. Employers long for employees who ABOUND in DILGENCE. A strong work ethic and get-it-done attitude is both rewarded and applauded.

As my grandmother so often said to her 11 children as they grew up, “Keep on keeping on.” These wise words carry with them the essence of abounding in diligence.
