“... be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.” 1 Samuel 12:24 NIV
The day has arrived. What was sought after has been achieved. A sigh of accomplishment is released and celebration is in the air.
For athletes, this is a day of reckoning...the accomplishments are behind and new ones are ahead. It may mean athletic scholarships for some or the close of an era for others. Both the wins and the losses have brought insight and maturity as they joyfully CONSIDER...IT DONE!
You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally. I Corinthians 9:24 TM
As we sprint through life there are many tasks that we happily take on with a CONSIDER...IT DONE attitude. However, it can also be closing a chapter with forgiveness and moving on. When we do we can say....
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 NIV
PRAYER: Thank you for the opportunity to finish the races in life, Lord. With your strength I will continue to complete what you begin in me. CONSIDER...IT DONE for your honor and glory! In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
BLESSINGS...AS YOU CONSIDER IT DONE!
