In sports, grace comes from the bench. The competition itself has little or no grace to chase. Rather, grace is a relational attitude that prevails in a healthy coach and player relationship. To pursue it, develop it, and practice it results in the necessary forgiveness for mistakes made…a fertile field for high accomplishment.
Instead of chasing God’s grace, it chases us!
“It has a wildness about it. A white-water, rip-tide, turn-you-upside-downess about it. Grace comes after you!” Max Lucado
His chasing grace changes everything…us, circumstances, others. Does it happen in an instant? Rarely. It happens as we allow God’s all-consuming grace to invade our lives…capturing us and changing us into His likeness.
“The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared.” Titus 2:11
Could you use some grace? Let God’s grace catch you today. It will sweep you into His arms of loving care and into a satisfying relationship with Him.
GOD’S CHASING GRACE PURSUES EACH FLEEING HEART!
My grace is enough; it’s all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 TM
