LET ALL CREATION ADORE HIM

"Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord...we adore you..."  I Chronicles 29:11 NLT


At the heart of adoration is believing that we are God's creation along with this earth, the universe and beyond!  This was not an accidental explosion or mutation that formed by itself.  This little quip recently came across my desk...

An atheist scientist came to God and said, "We've figured out how to make a man without you.” God said, "OK, let me see you do it."                                                                        

So the atheist bent down to the ground and scooped up a handful of soil. But God stopped him and said, "Oh, no you don't…get your own dirt!"

By the hand of God all creation was formed including us!

#1 We were formed by God from His own dirt … for this we ADORE Him.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:3 NLT

#2  We are God’s ultimate creation…for this we ADORE Him.
Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking!  Body and soul, I am marvelously made!

I worship in adoration—what a creation!  You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body;  You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.

Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.  Psalm 139:13-16 The Message

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.  Ephesians 2:10 NIV

#3 We are reflections of God's goodness...in doing this we ADORE Him.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  Matthew 5:16

PRAYER:  Dear Father God, our creator and lover of our souls, we ADORE you by being bright lights that reflect you into a darkened world.  Thank you for creating us in your image - we are yours today and always.  In Jesus'  Name, Amen
