Preparation for anything requires attention, planning and often many “to-do’s”. I love to plan ahead but always with the understanding that changes may come.
God’s Word challenges us to be prepared…
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15
Being ready to answer keeps us on our toes. The key, however, lies in the words “when asked”. We can find ourselves answering a question that was not asked which can cause our unsolicited answers to be unheard.
We can also feel unprepared when called upon to answer a question. God provides others around us to remind us of the truth that we already know and He will always equip us with the answer.
So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. 2 Peter 1:12
We can be ALWAYS PREPARED when called…
God doesn’t always call those who are equipped...but he always equips those He calls. (unknown)
Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Psalm 105:4
ALWAYS PREPARED BECAUSE HE IS THERE!
