This time of the year we turn our thoughts toward the abundance that we enjoy. With THANKFUL PRAISE we celebrate around tables filled with good things, with those we love and in the presence of our Creator.
Besides the Thanksgiving table, there is a place for THANKFUL PRAISE as we watch our children on the fields and courts of play. We praise them from the stands for each good move or score by shouting our approval. This lets them know that we notice what they did! There is another step beyond praising, it is thanking them for nobly representing their team and thanking God for their abilities. Together these responses build a meaningful relationship with our athletes and strong character in them.
CHALLENGE: Add to your ‘Yay!’ a whispered ‘thank you, Jesus!”.
